Listening To Children with Asperger’s

Even though children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and Asperger’s may experience difficulties in communication, parents must learn to communicate with and listen to their children in order to help them plan for the future. Children with AS will eventually develop an ability to understand their disorder. They will also have some ideas about what they want to do with and in their lives. Learning to listen and work with your child will be crucial in helping them build their futures.
