My Approach

Dr. Brough’s approach to psychological testing consists of conceptualizing the patient in a holistic lens. Knowing that psychological testing is often one of the many steps a patient takes to better understand themselves, Dr. Brough doesn't leave a stone unturned to ensure that you will gain insights to all your idiosyncratic strengths as an individual. Dr. Brough also appreciates the necessity of having an accurate diagnosis to build a sense of empowerment of knowing what you have been battling and how to leave feeling prepared and armored with this new knowledge. Thus, she bolsters this insight with encouraging treatment recommendations to help guide you to the next steps to continue your journey of self-development and growth. She uses her therapeutic skills to aid in making the environment judgement free and to work at your pace to build a swift rapport. Dr. Brough appreciates working with a variety of presenting problems that can be addressed through general psychological evaluations, including assessing for intellectual functioning, social and emotional functioning, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
