Setting Boundaries with ADHD

Establishing boundaries and limits of appropriate behavior is an important process for parents and their children; it’s is especially important when it comes to children with ADD and ADHD. Children with these disorders are often very intelligent, to the point where they may believe that they are their parents’ equals. By clearly setting boundaries and letting your children know that they are not your equals, you will be able to firmly remind them of your authority while making your child aware of their limitations.
