ADHD and Sleep

Sleep is a critical factor that is often overlooked in helping children with ADHD control their behavior and focus on tasks. Getting to sleep can be a challenge for a child with ADHD; however, parents can help by limiting screen time, especially before bed, removing caffeine from their child’s diet, and setting a routine bedtime schedule to help promote sleep.
