Sydney Szuch
M.A. | Psy.D. Psychology Doctoral Practicum Student
My Approach
Sydney’s therapy style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion and understanding. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable exploring the experiences that have shaped them. Sydney uses an integrative approach, drawing from multiple therapeutic perspectives to meet each patient where they are and support their individual goals. She enjoys working with children and families, especially when children are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, attention, emotional regulation, trauma, autism, or other developmental and behavioral concerns. Sydney believes that therapy can help families better understand what a child is communicating through their emotions and behaviors, while also supporting parents in making thoughtful choices in the best interests of their child. Her approach balances reflection with practical support, helping patients and families build insight, strengthen coping skills, and take small, meaningful steps toward greater confidence, connection, and emotional well-being.
