Sarah is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who views therapy as a powerful tool for self-discovery and healing. Understanding that no two journeys are the same, Sarah utilizes an integrative approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Her practice is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and the belief that everyone possesses the inherent strength to overcome adversity. She is a skilled clinician specializing in the complexities of grief and loss, eating disorders, and family systems. With a practice rooted in deep empathy and evidence-based care, Sarah supports individuals and families navigating some of life’s most challenging experiences. She brings extensive experience to the treatment of high-acuity concerns, including self-harm and suicidality, providing a stabilizing and secure environment for clients in crisis.

My Experience

After completing her Masters in Social Work from Boston University, Sarah acquired additional knowledge in disability services, grief and loss, skill building, and group therapy. She has experience in acute settings working with mood disorders, eating concerns, and family conflict. Sarah’s previous experience and compassionate understanding allows her to help clients move from a state of survival toward one of sustainable recovery and hope. She gives a safe place to process and offers a grounded and compassionate presence for those navigating emotional pain. Sarah believes in the power of systemic healing and works tirelessly to help individuals and families find a path toward safety and resilience. During sessions, she combines skills and tactics from multiple therapeutic modalities (including EFT, ACT, DBT, and CBT) to help clients move towards their goals and living their best life.
