LPC, Podcast Manager

My Approach

As a counselor, Sam strives to provide a warm, judgment-free environment where patients can explore their mental health goals and discover their inner strengths. He aims to meet patients where they are, offering compassionate support throughout their counseling journey. In sessions, Sam collaborates with patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their values and needs. He has experience helping individuals manage conditions like depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, major life changes, and compulsive gambling. Sam integrates mindfulness practices into his work, guiding patients to individualize these tools to reduce stress and promote their wellbeing. He also draws upon Adlerian theory to facilitate community involvement and enrich personal relationships. It is an honor for Sam to witness the courage and growth of his patients over time. He is continually humbled by the resilience of the human spirit. Sam looks forward to forming authentic connections with patients and empowering them on their mental health expedition. This work is a privilege that he does not take lightly.
