My Approach

Petya has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults through both the assessment and intervention process in a variety of settings including public schools and university-based centers for learning. She has been involved in collaboration and consultation with providers across environments with focus on most appropriate recommendations and supports, specific to each patient and understandable to the individual, school teams, and parents, and feasible within the structure of a child’s daily life. Petya has worked closely with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing difficulties with learning, executive functioning, depression, anxiety, and social-emotional functioning. She truly believes that patients present with unique strengths and needs and deserve to have their voice heard and incorporated in their individualized recommendations and support plans.
