Mitchell Lambert
LPC
My Approach
Mitchell’s approach to mental health is all about meeting the client where they are. He believes in walking with you through this chapter of your life, allowing you to decide where the path takes you. Creating a close therapeutic alliance is an important part of the process—studies show that the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy.
He takes a client-centered approach, working with you to build on your strengths, courage, and motivation to achieve your goals. He also incorporates an existential perspective, exploring meaning and purpose in your life. Recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all therapy, Mitchell tailors his approach to your individual needs and provides the tools that will best support you along the way.
With experience working with a diverse population across a wide range of ages, Mitchell creates a nonjudgmental space that considers your whole person, not just what brings you to therapy.

About Mitchell Lambert
My Experience
Mitchell received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from National University in La Jolla, San Diego, and went on to earn his master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. He began his career in the United States Navy, serving 12 years as a Hospital Corpsman. Early in his Naval career, he realized he wanted to become a therapist and advocate for mental health, focusing on reducing stigma. While serving, he worked toward this goal while researching mental health stigma, resilience, and access to care. Mitchell later worked at a youth and family center, providing care for children, couples, families, and adults. He further expanded his experience working with patients experiencing substance use disorders, mood disorders, behavioral challenges, and adjustment difficulties. His goal is to provide the highest quality care to his patients while continuously learning new approaches and deepening his expertise to better serve those he works with.
