Kayla’s therapy style is integrative and person-centered, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique needs of the patient. Kayla is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches based off the individual needs of each patient. Her goal is to meet patients where they are while helping them explore their personal strengths and develop meaningful skills. Kayla deeply values empathy, collaboration, and open communication, and strives to build a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and safety that supports resilience and personal growth.

About Kayla Roddy
My Experience
Kayla received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Thiel College, with minors in Gender Studies and Religion. She then went on to receive her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Adler University, where she is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Kayla has experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. She has worked with diverse populations, including refugee and immigrant survivors of trauma. This work has honed strong and effective communication skills, enabling Kayla to navigate complex situations with cultural sensitivity. She also has experience conducting psychological assessments for children, teens, and adults. She has worked with patients across the lifespan, focusing on a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, OCD, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, trauma, self-esteem, and life adjustments.
