My Approach

Dr. Hannah Tucker has a trauma-informed and patient-centered approach to her therapy. She focuses on having a judgement-free and safe therapeutic environment for patients to create goals and maintain meaningful, fulfilling lives. Dr. Tucker works well with children and adolescents that have difficulty with building positive relationships and are unsure of or reluctant to engage in mental health services. Dr. Tucker takes on a collaborative approach with her patients and their families so that each patient feels important and heard. It is important for Dr. Tucker to have a strong and safe therapeutic rapport with each of her patients. She encourages them to identify and build on their strengths in order to develop new skills and changes in behaviors to ultimately begin a new path in life.

About Dr. Hannah Tucker

My Experience

Dr. Hannah Tucker received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Toledo, where she was introduced to the broad, generalized psychology field. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She has worked in residential facilities and therapeutic day schools prior to joining private practice. She works with young children through older adults with trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, behavioral problems, depression, mood disorders, anxiety and ADHD. Her devotion and compassion for this profession strengthens her interest in learning and being open to a variety of patient experiences and difficulties.
