Coraline Dubois

Ed.S, NCSP

My Approach

Coraline's carefully mapped out psychological evaluations, help patients understand how they learn, think, solve problems, and analyze information. Assessments are thoughtfully chosen based on patient needs and concerns, obtained during the intake process. Her goal is to help patients get to know themselves on a deeper level cognitively, emotionally, and behaviorally, as well as their executive functioning. Working with children and young adults allows Coraline to help parents and guardians understand their child’s unique profiles; their strengths and where they may benefit from ideas for different ways of presenting the information. She enjoys working with children, especially ages 3 to preteens, and digging deeper by presenting assessments in a fun and interactive manner. Coraline is dedicated to working together and determining how each patient can be most successful in everyday life.

About Coraline Dubois

My Experience

Coraline received her Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Human Development from DePaul University. She went on to obtain her Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology fromThe Chicago School of Professional Psychology while working full-time at an early childhood center. She found working with children and their families rewarding and liked the developmental, play-based aspect of early education. Since then, Coraline has practiced as a School Psychologist, and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, working with children and young adults from ages 3 to 22. Her experience includes working with a diverse group of patients from students with multiple disabilities who have rare genetic conditions to individuals with anxiety, ADHD, and/or Autism. Although most of Coraline’s experience is working with clients and their families in schools, her practice is to also communicate closely with community entities, such as private doctors and therapists working with her clients. Coraline is passionate about working together with families, schools, and the community to meet client needs.
