Jenny Walsh
LCSW
My Approach
Jenny Walsh’s therapeutic approach is grounded in building a deep understanding of each patient’s unique interests and motivations, using these as a foundation for collaborative goal setting. She believes that meaningful progress begins with recognizing the full context of a patient’s life and the various factors influencing their experiences. Viewing therapy as a partnership, Jenny works closely with patients to identify and pursue goals that are mutually defined and personally meaningful. Her clinical work draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and others—tailored to best support each patient’s individual needs. Jenny acknowledges that the therapeutic process can be both challenging and rewarding, and she strives to provide a space that is both honest and empathetic. Central to her work is the trusting relationship she builds with patients, which serves as the foundation for growth, healing, and empowerment.
