My Approach

The healing process thrives when the client¹s strengths, aspirations, beliefs, and unique qualities are understood and valued. I provide a non-judgmental and empowering environment, while embracing vulnerability, authenticity, forgiveness, flexibility, and creativity. Through empathy, goal collaboration, and shared humor, I strive to build a strong rapport with my clients. Effective and meaningful counseling requires a solid therapeutic alliance. My counseling methods are tailored to the client¹s goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

My Experience

I attained my Master¹s Degree in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Through my clinical training, volunteer involvement, and career, I have worked with a diverse clientele in hospitals, community colleges, social service agencies, and assisted living facilities.
