Grief Can Be Unpredictable

“He seems so happy?”, “Why hasn’t she cried?” These are questions that adults may ask when witnessing children and their responses to grief. The way an individual, especially a child, responds to grief will be unpredictable. Accepting that fact may help you to better understand a child’s response to grief. Remember that children heal in their own unique way and that grief affects each person differently.
